A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of celebrating my friend's little girl's birthday. Stella turned one and had what I considered to be a fabulous first birthday party.
We enjoyed yummy barbecue from the The Salt Lick, one of my favorite restaurants of all time back home (Texas) and anywhere for that matter. Kudos to the Johnsons for a great spread of food.
And a birthday wouldn't be complete without a birthday cake. The design: a cute garden with flowers and butterflies flying overhead.
The flavor: banana cake with Nutella cream cheese frosting...yum!
Stella even got to enjoy some cake...a lot actually.
I love how she wasn't shy and dived right into the cake.

Awww...she's getting so big! The cake flavors sound delish.
