Cake Batter Pancakes
Makes about 12 pancakes
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup yellow cake mix
1 tbsp sugar
3/4 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-2 cups milk
assorted sprinkles

Directions
Combine flour, cake mix, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix. Add 1 cup of milk, eggs and vanilla extract and stir until smooth. You want the batter to look like regular pancake batter; add more milk until this consistency is achieved.

Preheat a skillet or griddle on medium heat. Fold desired amount of sprinkles into batter. Pour 1/4 cup batter onto skillet and let cook until bubbles form on top, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for 1 minute more. Serve with glaze (recipe below).
Glaze

1/2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
assorted sprinkles

ReplyDeleteThis look delicious and the dream breakfast of....well just about anybody! I will definitely remember this when it comes to a birthday (since Im a horrible cook and will probably need to take a few attempts at this to make it decent lol)
