I recently met several fabulous ladies that have been such a creative inspiration. Katie of Sweet Rose Studio is one of those fab ladies who has a sharp eye for tablescapes, decor and photography. She was so kind to invite me to be a part of her Girlies' Day Out Party photo shoot, and can I just say, the photos came out spectacular!
For the photo shoot, I made these lovely little cakes - Citrus Poppyseed Cake with a Citrus Curd and Vanilla Buttercream Frosting. I covered the cake in fondant and topped it with a sweet sugar flower that was brushed with luster dust...perfect little cakes for any party. :)
