World Events: The Royal Wedding

Though I have not been one of those crazed royal wedding fanatics, I can definitely appreciate and enjoy the beauty that surrounds a wedding itself. Royalty and honored guests arrived on Friday, March 29 at Westminster Abbey in grand fashion to celebrate the marriage of Prince William and Catherine "Kate" Middleton.

Just outside the church, Kate looked stunning in her elegant dress. Accompanied by her father and sister, they entered the church which was sure to be breathtaking.

And it was. The venue was perfect. Standing underneath the Gothic architecture and surrounded by beautiful art, the ceremony began.

I love the glow of Kate as the ring was placed on her hand. Lovely.

And just like that, the Duke of Cambridge (once a teen heartthrob for girls my age) married his love, and Kate became the Duchess of Cambridge. Love this photo!

As the newly married couple left the church, a photo was captured that made you a bit teary because it displayed their overwhelming happiness, and best of all, it was the perfect snapshot to capture their red carpet moment - impeccable.

As they waved to adoring spectators, I can only think how cool it is to have married your own prince charming. Just like a fairy tale. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Now, can I see the reception and cake please? :)
