AZ Girls' Night Out

Can you tell that there was a celebration going on this weekend? That's right, an AZ Girls' Night Out celebration and I was invited to contribute to the event...yay!

Since the event was a party theme, I made fun and festive cakes and cupcakes that showcased decorations we all think of when we celebrate an occasion.

My fun treats were the centerpieces at the event; don't they look delish! Knowing that I wanted to cater to everyone, I made two different flavors: Chocolate Caramel Latte and Strawberries & Cream. The yummies were well received. :)

Speaking of everyone, several awesome ladies came to the event including Katie of Sweet Rose Studio, Amy of Pink Bow Bath Boutique and Jessa from Sparkle.

Of course an event like this would not be complete without a little crafting. The TomKat Studio provided fun party printouts for us to create festive accessories for our personal parties. These designs were so cute, and you can bet that I will be using these in an upcoming party and posting tons of pictures.

I love crafting with these ladies!

As you can see, we had a great time. I am so happy that I've had the pleasure of meeting so many great ladies in the last few months. They are truly inspirational, and to all the new ones I met during the event, you are fabulous and I can't wait to get to know you more.

And of course, the night would not be complete without a little swag. Look at all the goodies I received from the event! Cupcake liners, hair clips, gift certificates and more. I can't wait to sort through it all.

Before the night was over, I was hoping to win a raffle prize and for the first time ever, I actually won...WOOT WOOT! With a gift certificate to Sierra Studios Photography, I am excited to finally get nice portraits taken. The perfect end to a great event.

Now that it's over, I am eagerly waiting for the next event - I hope it's soon. Before I go, I must give a special thanks to Kendra from My Insanity for giving me the opportunity to share my passion with the AZGNO ladies! To see more pictures, head over to my Facebook page and check out my AZ Girls' Night Out album.

  1. Loved reading your recap of GNO! Your cakes were seriously some of the best I have ever eaten. It takes talent to be able to create something that not only looks pretty, but tastes good too!
I posted about them on my recap too. go here to see http://www.thediaryofdaveswife.com/2011/06/az-gno-recap.html
